Course Structure

One day professional training course Cellurase Cellulite Removal  Cellulite is the dimpled skin and nodularity often found on the hips, thighs and buttocks usually described as having an ‘orange peel’ or ‘cottage cheese’ appearance. It is far more common in females than males due to the differences in fat distribution and affects 85-98% of women. 

There are many causes including sex, age, race, hormones, genetic factors, lifestyle, diet, exercise and stress.  Although cellulite is considered to be normal, many people find it undesirable.  Our cellulite body treatment achieves improved texture of the skin and reducing cellulite.  Cellulite is a chronic degenerative process in the subcutaneous fat layer which alters the texture of the skin.  Cellulite affects 85-90% of women over the age of 20. It is often genetic and gets worse with age. 

The main characteristics of cellulite are widespread deep dimples and orange peel skin.  Celluerase involves breaking and releasing the fibres with a special microblade. The bands of fibrous connective tissue are separated by subcision allowing the skin to spring back resulting in a smoother appearance.  The results are immediate and once a specific depression is treated it should not need further treatment. 

Cellurase treatment consists of 2 stages: 

Stage 1 Injection lipolysis (breakdown of the fat by injecting Aqualyx)  

Stage 2 Breakdown of connective tissue strands using the Cellurase blade.  Local anaesthetic is used to minimise any pain during the procedure, although there may be a moderate degree of discomfort during the treatment of certain areas. The injection of local anaesthetic may cause a stinging sensation before numbing takes place. If you find the procedure uncomfortable, further local anaesthetic can be administered.  A small microblade is then used to break the fibres connecting the skin to release the dimpled effect and give a smoother appearance  

CELLULITE GRADES  

Grade 1 is mild. 

Orange peel appearance with between 1 and 4 superficial depressions and a slightly draped or sagging appearance of the skin

. 

Grade 2 is moderate. 

Usually between 5 and 9 medium-depth depressions, a dimply appearance and the skin appears moderately draped.  

Grade 3 is severe. 

Usually, a mattress appearance with 10 or more deep depressions and the skin is severely draped.  The depressions are caused by bands of fibrous connective tissue attached to the skin. Fat in the deeper layers under the skin is always enclosed in little compartments wrapped up by a thin sheath of connective tissue forming ‘fat parcels’.  Connective tissue is made of a network of collagen, elastin and other proteins. These fat pouches are literally suspended by collagen strands that attach to them. The surface of the skin is tethered directly to the superficial fascia below by longer and thicker collagen strands, these collagen strands are most responsible for the mattress cellulite appearance.

This course is designed for beginners; however, Students must be 18+. All materials will be provided for you. On the advanced class yo need to have complete the foundation class first.
