Course Structure

In traditional Chinese culture, bamboo is said to symbolise prosperity, longevity, energy, and fertility, and is a material renowned for its healing properties. Already hugely popular in the US and Asia, this unique massage technique involves applying oil to the client’s body, before heating hollow bamboo sticks of different lengths. The bamboo sticks are then used to kneed the muscles, relieving knots and tension, and aiding relaxation. Because this massage technique is much gentler on your wrists and hands, you’ll find yourself much less tired at the end of the day, whilst still leaving your clients feeling reinvigorated.

Do I need to bring a model?

It is requested that you bring a model to the course. We shall provide further information in confirmation of booking. Please note – You will also be working on each other.

Course Entry Requirements

London Learning Academy diploma courses are appropriate for complete beginners and do not necessitate any prior knowledge to be able to train with us; many of our students are not yet beauty trained and are looking to start up a business in the industry.

We welcome students of all abilities, whether you are looking to learn a new skill from or currently working as a therapist and looking to refresh your knowledge of specific treatments. This course is designed for beginners; however, Students must be 18+. All materials will be provided for you.
